Quick
Tips On Developing New Islamic Digital Products
When
an islamic idea pops in your head, be sure to take a
moment and write in down! I just got one mmm... myislamicgoals
(jot it down). Another one ... How to increase your
concentration in Prayer, How to be able to read
the Holy Quran in one month with understanding,
Steps in building up spirituality in Islam and
so on.
In fact, it's a good idea to keep a special file on
your desktop devoted specifically to your Islamic ideas.
After a while you'll have a long list of projects to
pick and choose from anytime the need arises. You may
name it 'Islamic Projects'
Choose
your Islamic Info type:
There
are many different types of online islamic offers you
can put together using the islamic articles and information
in the database.
Here
are 3 of the most popular choices:
1)
E-books.
E-books
are the latest form of traditional hardcover and paperback
books.
The
benefit with e-books over traditional books especially
for Dawa workers like you and I is that they're "paperless"...
You
can produce a million copies of your Islamic
e-book and it won't cost you a penny! And you can easily
get set up to have your e-book orders fulfilled automatically,
meaning you can literally be away from your computer
while at the same time accepting payments and delivering
your Islamic Ebook to your Muslim recipients!
Most
e-books can also be printed out chapter by chapter,
giving the believers the option of reading the e-book
anywhere just as with a "normal" book.
With
benefits like these, it's no wonder Islamic E-books
will be the in-thing in the next 5 years. Even
Amazon.com now sells e-books right alongside its hardcover
and paperback books!
2)
Islamic E-zines.
O.K.
I told you how e-books are the modern form of "the
book" right? Well what do you suppose "e-
zines" originate from? That's right - traditional
print magazines and newsletters.
Most
e-zines are offered to subscribers for free,
which gives them an advantage over print magazines right
from the word-go. Islamic E-zine publishers survive
by selling advertising space, and/or by featuring
special Islamic products and offers within their e-zines.
With
the resources in this site, you can start a successful
Islamic e-zine almost instantly. You will certainly
have an endless supply of top quality articles which
the believers will benefit from.
As
you're building your subscriber base (these
are Muslims who opt to get on your mail list and receive
regular emails from you), you can send out special Islamic
offers. These could be informative write-ups on your
favorite affiliate and referral programs (including
our services at Islam Digital).
3)
Islamic Course/Members Web-Site. (Just
like ours at Islam Digital.Com)
You
could put together an Islamic Course in a variety of
ways:
-You
could set up an e-mail autoresponder to deliver
your course/messages over a number of days. (More on
this in our Dawa Control Centre)
-Or
you could set up a private web-site where
members can access the course as a whole, or arranged
in a number of "lessons" or segments such
as our quran course at quraan.islamdigital.com
-Many
Islamic courses are delivered in e-book format, with
"lessons" replacing "chapters".
Tip:
When you put together your Islamic course (or virtually
any offer for that matter), make sure to arrange some
sort of back-end system including affiliate links
to complimentary Islamic products and services!
Do
NOT be intimidated by the thought of creating
your own Islamic e-book... It's so simple a sixth grader
could do it!
Really
it's like doing anything new. You may get it wrong once
or twice. But once you've got it down, you'll very likely
develop Islamic e-book FEVER, where you just
can't seem to STOP creating and compiling Islamic e-books!
