MY
3 POWERFUL STRATEGIES TO INCREASE MY EEMAN/FAITH
|
All are excellent and
worth practising...
M. Jaffer
Thanks
to all brothers and sisters who have shared their
ways of increasing rigteousness.
Tahir
I'd like to thank you
for the wonderful idea...
Sister Mansura
When
I read about your idea, I thought it was excellent.
Then I began to get second thoughts when I had
to put down my 3 ways because I wondered whether
my thawabs would be reduced by me announcing to
everybody what good a'amal I perform. But I convinced
myself that my intention is not to boast but to
do tabligh and to share good practice. I have
therefore put forward 3 recommendations on the
website.
Brother
in Islam
I got your email thank
you very much. It has always worked for me for
contentment and properity.
After each Salaat, in
the sajda-e-shukr, recite 7 times "Shukrunillah"
and 14 times "Al-Wah-hab" one of the
Usma-ul-Husna. Insha Allah you will always be
prosperous, happy and healthy.

My three points are these:
1) Doing your daily salat on time in which you glorify
Allah as much as possible. I recite surah Ikhlaas and
ayat 17:111(or 110), then afterwards Ayat al-Kursi and
59:23-24.
2) Recite Quran daily-20 verses or more after Fajr.
3) DhikrAsma l-Husna. Whenever making
dua, use the Names of Allah to approach Him. Keep remembrance
in whatever you are doing and strive to see Allah in
all you do.

1.
I made it a must to read Ayatul
Yaseen three times on friday ie. after Fajri
prayer, After Juma Prayer, and after Ishah prayer. By
doing this I thank ALLAH for having enabled me to survive
from one friday to another for many years.
2. I made it also a good habit to read some part of
the quran everyday after my Fajri prayer and I am happy
to say that I have at least 15 HATMAs in store for me.
3. I am also proud to say that I try to fast
at least every Monday and Thursday just to increase
on my Eeman.
4. The Word SUBHANA LLAHI WABIHAMDIHI SUBHANALLAH ADHEEM
is one of the words that i would never
miss in all circumstances.

First of all, the duas or blessing
that my parents
give me when I do something that pleased them.
Secondly, I believe that when one asks duah for someone
else, Allah swt will grant you too the same
benefit. E.g. if you ask duah for someones success,
Allah swt will make you too succeed in life.
Every time Allah swt favors us something, we must be
grateful to him.

1.
Always pondering upon the
bounties of the Almighty and thereby uttering words
of thanks to him. Even saying "Alhamdullilah"
has alot of reward.
2. Constant recitation of the dua " Ya Allahu Ya
Rahmanu Ya Rahimu Ya Muqalllibal qulub, thabit qalbi
alah dinik"
3. Being in wudhu all the
time.

Not
missing my Fajr salah
as it really is one of the most important prayer of
the day n if one misses his/her fajr for 3 days in a
row , the malaeeka of Allaah taaala will curse
the person. And thus my success of the day begins with
salaatul fajr n if I ever missed it I feel sick n in
pain all day SubhanAllaah.
Another
way which makes me closer to my Rab is, when we have
our meal I never
throw any bite of morsel in the bin rather I go to our
backyard and chuck it for the birds and chuck the bones
out for Muslim brothers and sisters from amongst the
jins.
And another way of feeling closer to Allaah swt is when
someone likes something
of mine I give it away for the sake of Allaah to that
specific person and seeing the joy and happiness on
the face of the person makes me happy and humble as
well as closer to Allaah, for being kind and merciful
to the creation of Allaah is indeed a worthy action
and noticeable by our Lord Allaah taaala who will
inshaAllaah in return be kind and merciful on to us
Walhamdulillaah for al Islaam

We have to realize that true
faith will not prevail without "Takwa"and
"Takwa" constitutes obience to Allah (S.W.).
In order to be obidient servant of Allah(S.W.) we have
to understand our islamic religious teachings to it's
perfaction. According to my personal experince, reading
of the "Quran"on daily basis with
understanding helps us understand Islam properly.
Secondly, pondering on whatever we here from the
pulpit (Mimbers) or read any material in
connection with our islamic faith helps us identify
whether the statement or litrature is in agreement with
the "Quran" or the sayings of the Ahalbait.
Thirdly, we must make an effort to obtain "Qurbe
Illahi" to be closer to our creator
for Allah(S.W.) has mentioned it in Hadise Kudsi "Come
closer to me through Takwa and I will make you like
me.

Suratul Nasr, Al-Kaifrun, Iklaas, and
3 times Astaghfirullaahallazi

Firstly,
always being around Muslim people.
I go to an Islamic school and the Muslims there are
awesome. The Quran said to always surround yourself
with believers and that has helped me remember Allah.
My second point: to always remember
Allah in everything we do. Whatever it is, always
say insha allah and have Allah in our plan.
The final point is to always pray
on time, and not 10 minutes before the next prayer
is due. Pray right when the adthan is given. These help
me keep my Eman straight.

1. I have tried to follow the
footsteps of my Mother
who was a very pious lady who helped me how to stay
in the family and with help of Allah (s.w.t.)learnt,
specially how to give and take.
2. Befor I go to sleep I make Sure I have done wudhoo
and pray three times Al-Ikhlas and I scrutinise my account
of the day and Ask for forgivrness if I have done wrong.
I try and remain in Wudhoo through out.
3. When it comes to manners
and characters I do speak, as speech becomes
gold and remaining silent is like deadly poison, specially
at the time of 'Amr Bil Maruf and Nahi Anil Munkar'.

1. As far as possible, have
all meals with the family, especially children.
It is amazing how a strong bond is established by doing
this and how many things are discussed about religion.
2. Saying salaam
to every member of the family first thing in the morning
and then when returning home. This habit would extend
automatically to other Muslims. What more can one wish
for besides peace and well-being for each other?
3. Form a habit of reading
a bit (even a page will do) from an Islamic book
everyday after fajr prayer. Why not start with the translation
of the holy Qur'an (most of us already recite it), followed
by Nahjul Balagha, Sahifa e Sajjadiyah, Taudhihul Masael
(Islamic Acts), History of Holy Prophet, Books on Ahadith,
etc.

A few ideas, which I feel has
really helped me in my personal life for the 3 ways
to Eaman :
1- Giving charity - however
little or large to needy people, especially when they
come and ask you for assistance.
2- Reciting the powerful
Names of Allahs, short one-liners and Duas from the
kitaab "Qunoot". I really really have a lot
of faith in this.
3- Thanking Allah at all
times, irrespective of whether you had a good day or
a bad day. Remembering that you are more fortunate than
millions of others and thanking God for all the neemat
he gave us, i.e eyes, ears, legs, a mind, etc...
4- It is also very good to do
wudhoo at night before going to sleep.
5 - Being polite and respectful
to your elder parents and supporting them if required.
Always remember them in your prayers with "
Rabbir ham kama rabba yalis sagheera"
