MY
3 POWERFUL STRATEGIES TO INCREASE MY EEMAN/FAITH
My
Email To Our Subscribers:
Salamun Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
We hope you are well this Islamic Year and we are
sorry for not being in contact with you for some
time.
An idea just stuck me and I need your help and
favour on this one as it may give you lots of
strength and thawab for years to come.
You see, some time ago I was jogging with a close
friend of mine (to keep in shape!) when he mentioned
a couple of things he REGULARLY did in his life
which has kept his Eeman strong and which he feels
helps him a lot with the ups and down of everyday
life.
3 things which he mentioned was:
1.
His daily supplication (duas) to Allah after EVERY
salah which he recites daily (religiously) which
guaranteed his every planning and favours he used
to ask from Almighty Allah swt
2.
His discipline that he would go to the mosque
many minutes before Adhan so that as he said:
'Salah should not wait for me but that I should
wait for Salah (to begin)'
3.
He would look after his family and old parents
(come what may) which he feels that with the prayers
of his mother he is successful in life and is
always thankful to Almighty Allah.
I was struck by the simple yet powerful strategies
he was using and I was inclined to try harder
to copy him so that I could also get the strength
and happiness he was feeling, and I tell you he
is really a contented person.
So I thought why not share this with you and
then also ask you to send to us YOUR
3 powerful strategies which you feel helps you
keep up on the Right Path in these trying times.
These specific strategies would be shared with
the 6000 or so subscribers of Islam Digital so
that if one believer copies your actions - you
will definately have achieved success in enjoining
the good!
I have put up my small actions which I feel have
helped me in this life todate at:

1.I
believe that an Imander person should concentrate
on Halal income.
2. We must repeat the three words, Subhan Allah, Alhumdulillah
and Allahu Akbar as much as possible whenever we can.
This I believe strengthens one's faith.
3. And we must try hard never to harm any of our fellow
beings.

The
dua that has worked for me is reciting Allah's
names (as many times) on daily basis, a different
name from the 99 (Asma'ul Husna) each day.
I have opted for 1000x daily.
It has given me alot of peace of mind, courage, patience
(I am speaking from expeience) and a feeling of guidance
from Allah.

Your all the 3 points
are really very good and apart from that it is good
to recite Ayat tul Kursi after every Faraz namaz
which makes a person more safe from all the evils.

A
DECEASED FRIED OF MINE HAD MENTIONED TO ME SOME YEARS
AGO OF HIS EXPERIENCE. HE WOULD
NOT TO MISS HIS MORNING PRAYERS AND ALWAYS RECITED
SURAH-E "YASIN"
AFTER HIS PRAYERS.
WHENEVER
HE WAS ON HIS TRAVELS, WHILE LEAVING HIS HOTEL ROOM
TO START HIS DAY, HE ALWAYS FELT THERE WAS A "SHADOW
AND A DIVINE HAND OVER HIS HEAD."
I
WILL REQUEST ALL READERS OF THIS MESSAGE TO RECITE A
SURAH-E FATIAH FOR THE MARHUM AND PRAY FOR HIS MAGHFEERAT.

Yes,
we should not make Salaat to wait for us, but we should
wait for the goodness of Salaat as advised by Prophet
SAWS.

Instead
of three I will write only one since I feel that has
helped a lot.
Be conscience of sinning and abstain from it as much
as possible. the rest will fall in place insha allah.

by Bro. Muslim: The
things that help me are:
1. Remembrance of Allah SWT in my regular activities.
In every role of my life I try and question as to what
Allah SWT wants of me. The more I can ask this question
the closer I feel to Him and am able to control myself
better.
2. A journal in
which I write my progress the previous day - keeping
a track of my concentration in prayers, my remembrance
of Allah SWT and my ability to control myself in various
fields.
3. Discussion with pious people, ulema etc. Be it in
Majalis or on one to one basis. Their piety acts as
a magnet for me and brings out the best in me.

ways I keep my Eeman strong:
1. I pray I do my five prayers
2. I make sure I am always studying about Islam so that
way my attention is drawn to the good and not worry
about things like television. I try to always
keep my mind pure.
3. I always supplicate to Allah (swt) to help
keep my Eeman strong
I have to say that being a revert to Islam and a American
there are so many things in America that does try to
temp us from doing good, if i may add these:
Things to Watch out
for and Do to make sure you keep your Eeman strong
1. As a revert you have to remember that you are
not really a part of where you are from and what I mean
by this is that if you are not from an Islamic country
and don't have any Muslims at all around it could be
hard, that is way I stay in most of the time and try
to study as much as I can and forget about what is going
on outside because as a Muslim I have no part of anything
unpure, I try to stay pure.
2. Don't let others who are not Muslims try to influence
you, because if they were your true friends then they
would not try to temp you to do anything wrong, they
would supprt you and help you if they were your true
friends.
3. Always stay on the Right and True path.

Praying immediately
after Fajr Adhan and keeping awake thereafter - dedicating
time for ibadah as recomended.
2. Reciting atleast one
Makrah of Qur'an with translation every day.
3. Ensuring that Ghusle-Janabat has been performed immediately
when necessary.

1.
I make sure that after every prayer I recite the recommended
and my own supplications which I feel has 'guaranteed'
my every planning and favours I ask from Almighty Allah
swt.
2.
I follow a discipline to go to the mosque many minutes
before Adhaan is recited so that "Salah should
not wait for me but that I should wait for Salah (to
begin)"
3. I try to look after my family and parents (come what
may) and I feel that with the prayers of my Mother I
have remained happy in this life and insha-allah in
the Hereafter.

1.
My recitation of Ayatul Kursi
(from Chapter 2 of the Holy Quran on the Throne
of Allah) before going to my Medical Practice daily
is like my insurance of having a successful day.
2.
Being lucky to have Excellent Role Models in my Parents
and Teachers in my Madrasah training has kept me steadfast
in Islam in having a solid foundation.
3.
To see the hardships and sufferings of the common African
family and the serious diseases on a daily basis keeps
us do a little Humanitarian
Service like Medical Camps and so on once
in a while: for which we thank Almighty Allah in protecting
us.
